CS-C1 Chipper
Despite its compact dimensions, IMC’s new CS-C1 Chipper has a market leading capacity and is able to process up to 25kg of potatoes in just one minute. It can be mounted on a drainer, worktop or stand and is manufactured from heavy gauge stainless steel to provide years of reliable service and superior performance whilst being simple to wipe down and clean.
Robust Construction
Designed and engineered to bear the weight of a bucket of chips suspended from the chute. All welds are deep penetration, using the latest technology, for added strength and longevity.

Extra wide hopper
Enables easier loading of potatoes, up to 12.5kg at a time. Rubber feet help dampen any excess noise during operation.

Easy loading
A new internal baffle arrangement, including angled side plates and an extra-large baffle throat, optimises the space available for potatoes. This speeds up the process of loading the hopper and limits the opportunity for potatoes to remain blocked in the hopper.

Screw-in baffles
The use of screws to affix the baffles to the hopper ensures their rigid location and limits any potential damage. Should the need arise, it also allows any baffle to be replaced simply and quickly.

Compact knife block
The patented screw-down, quick-release knife block assembly ensures blades remain rigidly in place to provide perfect chips with minimal wastage. Available in widths of 8mm, 12mm, 14mm and 17mm, it can be removed quickly and easily for cleaning or replacement.

One piece hopper and chute assembly
The exit chute is integrated into the hopper which means fewer parts and faster cleaning. It also reinforces the rigidity and stability of the chute, as well as the Chipper, whilst reducing the cost of replacement knife block assemblies.

Waste free chute
The exit from the chute has been designed to concentrate the area over which chips are dispensed, thereby maximising the capture rate and preventing any wastage onto the floor. Even the angle of the front face of the chute has been set so as to minimise any damage to the chips as they exit the Chipper.

Grab handle
The grab handle enables the hopper to be easily lifted, and the chute, hopper and handle have been specially designed to easily take the load bearing of a suspended chip collection bucket.

Easy grip safety interlock knob
This switches off the motor before access can be gained to the rotor thereby preventing any unwanted accidents. Crafted from a block of aluminium, it has been ergonomically designed to provide maximum comfort for the operator even when used repeatedly with wet hands.

Operator button cover
Designed to prevent water ingress, the cover is securely located to deter tampering and removal.

Long life belt and pulley drive
The pulley and belt are over 60% wider than any Chipper model previously available to provide outstanding durability and reliability.

Relocated hopper trunnions
The hopper trunnions, or hinges, are located on the inside of the hopper to prevent damage and enable easier cleaning. Secured by a continuous pin, and manufactured in hard wearing plastic to minimise noise during use, the hinges will remain intact for the life of the Chipper.

Accessories
Multi-purpose stand
As well as providing a sturdy platform for the Chipper, the stand can also be supplied with an optional shelf on which to position the chip collection bucket. Adjustable feet optimise the stand’s contact with the floor surface and minimise any excess noise when the Chipper is in operation. The stand is provided with two positions on which to locate the bucket shelf to enable either a 12 or 18 litre chip collection bucket to fit beneath the Chipper chute. Thin but sturdy bars enable easy access for cleaning underneath.

Bucket shelf
The shelf incorporates a removeable drip tray to collect any excess water and, for added safety, a drip collection trough to prevent splashing onto the floor of any excess water exiting the Chipper chute.
