2 Our use of cookies and other information gathering technologies

Our website uses cookies for the purposes of the member’s login and the download form. The login cookie only holds information for a short period of time to enable you to be logged in. The download form cookie does not store personal information and is held on your system for 90 days which means that if you register your information for downloading files etc from the website you will not have to fill in the form every time you visit the website within that 90 day period.

The internet is not a secure medium. However we have put in place various security procedures as set out in this policy.
All personal information that is stored in the system for use with the website shop and members area is encrypted using triple DES (Data Encryption algorithm Standard) and AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) and the keys for these encryptions are also encrypted using RSA encryption.
All logins are secured using Microsoft’s ASP.NET. All passwords are stored securely by this system.
We also keep your information confidential. The internal procedures of Imperial Machine Company Limited cover the storage, access and disclosure of your information.
4 Sale of business
If this business is sold or integrated with another business your details may be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective purchasers and their advisers and will be passed on to the new owners of the business.
