IMC World First
IMC has installed its first “CompPod”, a stand-alone mobile building which houses the company’s multi award-winning food waste recycling solution, at Imperial College London. All food waste generated on site by the College’s 11,000 plus students will be processed inside the CompPod where it will be converted into high quality compost for subsequent use on the College’s grounds. Set to go live in February 2010, this is the first time that the waste recycling system has been delivered to a customer as a “solution in a box” and is already attracting a great deal of interest and support from students and academics alike.
