IMC has introduced to the majority of its Food Waste Disposers a novel, new feature that dramatically reduces water consumption and helps to conserve this valuable resource.

IMC’s “Water Flow Control” adjusts the volume of water that flows through the Food Waste Disposer whilst it is processing food waste. Recent research and extensive testing by IMC has established that the relatively high level of liquid that is naturally present in commercial catering waste is often sufficient for the FWD to operate at its maximum efficiency with only a very limited requirement for extra water to be added.

In some instances, and depending on the type of food waste, water consumption can be reduced by up to 86%*, in the process delivering a significant saving in water bills.
