IMC receives record enquiries at RWM
RWM 2010
IMC was busier than ever at this year’s RWM Show, taking place last week at the NEC, and received a record number of enquiries.
The company’s multi award winning food waste recycling solution took centre stage and attracted considerable interest from a broad cross-section of industries. Prospective customers were particularly interested in the diverse range of organisations that have already adopted IMC’s food waste to compost system.

IMC’s Business Development Manager, Dennis Moore, attributed this to the ever rising costs of food waste disposal and the development of legislation restricting the use of landfill as the preferred disposal route. “Catering establishments, from both the Private and Public Sectors, are increasingly aware of just how expensive it is to dispose of food waste, or indeed any other waste steams that have been contaminated by food waste, and are looking for alternative solutions. The relatively low cost of the equipment is soon recovered by the savings made on waste disposal.”

IMC’s equipment has already been established in blue chip organisations such as the National Trust, JP Morgan and Imperial College London where it has also helped to meet Corporate Social Responsibility objectives. It provides a low cost solution that is unaffected by rising third party waste collection and processing charges and delivers complete management control of the waste to the waste producer.
