IMC entertains Brazil at home
IMC has hosted a party from Brazil to view its pioneering food waste recycling solution in action at Imperial College, London. The equipment is located in its own purpose-built building on the Campus and is known affectionately as the CompPod. It converts around 50 tonnes of food waste a year into high quality compost which is then used on Imperial’s grounds.

Having been impressed by the products on display at international trade shows, IMC’s dealer in Brazil, Engefood, was keen to see the system in operation and organised the trip. In addition to a number of prospective end users, the visiting party also included Dimas Rodrigues de Oliveira from the country’s largest consultancy, Nucleora.

Engefood will be displaying IMC’s multi award winning recycling solution at the forthcoming Equiphotel Show in Sao Paolo this September.
