IMC is a state of the art UK manufacturer of commercial catering and back bar equipment. In the past decade over £5m has been invested in facilities, plant and equipment to ensure that the factory continues to be at the forefront in both processes and efficiency.

Export is a very important part of our business with over 40% of production exported across the globe, whilst 60% is sold in the UK.

IMC is a specialist producer of niche machinery leading product development in many discrete business areas. We work in 5 key business areas:

• Vegetable preparation – This is where IMC first started in 1906, today we concentrate on vegetable peeling and potato chipping and offer a complete suite of equipment for the chip shop.
• Waste disposal - a range of food waste disposers from 0.5kw to 4kwh is the core of the range but we also manufacturer food waste dewaterers and packaging waste compactors.
• Food waste recycling – a range of food waste processing units and in vessel composters to deliver the greenest possible solution to customers food waste problems.
• Bar systems – 2 ranges, Bartender & F2, enable bars, clubs and restaurant owners to ergonomically equip their bar staff to serve drinks in the most efficient way, there is also a 3D design software package to help lay out the bar.
• Back Bar refrigeration - the Mistral and Hurricane ranges of bottle coolers, the top loading BM range and glass Frostars complement the bar offering, helping make IMC-specified bars some of the most stylish and best performing you will find.

Because we manufacture and design in house we are able to offer a significant level of adaptation to ensure that a customer gets what they need to make their premises the best they can be. For instance, food waste recycling units, potato tanks, and individual bar units are regularly made on a “one–off basis” specifically to meet a customer’s needs and, with over 150 standard wiring looms and many electric motor variants available x-stock, we are normally able to offer the customer exactly what they need wherever they are in the world on land or sea.
